eDGD Proof of Concept

It is a pleasure to announce that, together with Lufthansa Cargo as partner, we are involved in a project regarding the implementation of the electronic Dangerous Goods Declaration (eDGD). The project has entered a testing phase, in which Shippers are involved to share practical experiences. This Proof of Concept starts in November 2018 and ends in Q1 2019. Shippers can offer their dangerous goods shipments to Lufthansa Cargo in Frankfurt via the DGOffice.net E-Freight solution.

Participate?
Participants will get access to the E-Freight options in DGOffice.net and will receive accompanying guidance. Specifications for companies that are interested to participate in the PoC are:
– Act as Shipper;
– Cargo has to be offered to Lufthansa Cargo in Frankfurt (not OAL handled by LH Cargo in FRA);
– No shipments with additional Dry Ice on AWB (yet). Shipments with Dry Ice on DGD only are ok;
– No shipments with authorizations.

If you have interest to participate in this PoC, please send an email to info@dgoffice.net. Thereafter, additional information will be shared with you.
