Company mission and background
Vikingegaarden is based on the ideas of Ulrik Østergaard. From the early beginning Ulrik had a clear mission for the company. Right from the early start it was formulated that the focus should be on the usability of the advanced solutions which now is developed in the web-based CMS system VMS. The aim of operation was that the system should be so intuitive and easy to use, that customers got the feeling that they knew how to handle the products from day one. According to existing customers, the goal was reached successfully!
Company history
Vikingegaarden was established back in 1996 as Vikingegaarden, and the development of VMS began in 1999. As the VMS proved itself to the customers, this became the main focus of the company and all activities were transferred to Vikingegaarden A/S. This took place in 2007, and the company is now focusing on VMS systems and Citect SCADA solutions.
Vikingegaarden Management System - VMS®
The VMS offers customers solutions within three main areas:
- Process technique - surveillance, data analyses and control
- Fleet management - GPS systems for vehicles and machines
- Dangerous goods - handling of Dangerous goods transports
All VMS systems and solutions are based on tracking via the GPS system and communication with the customer's already installed equipment. The communication is done via the highly reliable VikMote units and the cost effective GPRS mobile communication system. All information is collected on the VMS server in real-time and is instantly presented to the customer's PC, mobile phone or PDA.

With the Citect SCADA solution Vikingegaarden provides real-time information and control for your plant or business. Citect SCADA includes:
