About ECOonline

ECOonline was established in July 2000. Its headquarters are in Tønsberg, Norway. Hundreds of customers now use our systems on a daily basis. As a result they have been able to make significant savings in the area of health, safety and environment (HSE), improve their working environments and cut chemical raw material costs by making “smarter” purchases.

Our solutions

We offer an Internet-based tool for efficient production and distribution of safety datasheets that are used to build up a substance library. We deliver documentation to businesses that handle chemical products and substances. Our expertise allows us to help our customers meet an important part of their HSE obligations. Our solutions offer our customers a clear increase in value. This is because the systems offer greater availability and are updated automatically. When used correctly, our customers can improve their employees' health. Correct use results in improvements to the environment.

Value creation

A large part of the value creation to be gained from our solutions derives from way we harness the internet. Data is gathered together in one place and is available for anyone with internet access. This means that any employee with access to the internet can make use of a company's substance database. Safety datasheets may also be printed out easily and quickly. The entire system operates on a secure server hosted by Active24, which provides 24-hour monitoring.

Pioneers

ECOonline was the first company in northern Europe to offer a solution of this kind. Since then users have experienced first hand how much easier it makes the job of keeping track of the chemicals they use.
