New modules launched! |
19 september 2011
During the upcoming Air Cargo Handling conference 2011, held in Amsterdam19 – 21 September 2011, DGM-SDG will launch a new module to it’s DGOffice™ platform.
The new Acceptance module is an add-on to the also renewed NOTOC module and enables GHA’s and Airlines to ‘receive’ goods in their warehouse by using the new Collection list option.
Shippers Declarations can be imported in XML format or data can be entered manually. Both methods use check functions to verify if the paperwork is correct. Q-Value Calculation for ‘All Packed in One’ shipments and Overpacks are supported and automated where possible.
After the data import or entry, warehouse checklists can be produced to complete the cargo acceptance procedure.
When the cargo is accepted for carriage, it is released for transfer on a ULD using a wizard that includes for instance split shipments, ULD positioning and a check if all items on an AWB have been loaded.
Finally the actual NOTOC is produced on paper or electronic format including Additional Cargo Information sheets and Emergency Procedures.
Together with the renewed NOTOC module the user now has a complete tool to verify and document the whole Air Cargo Acceptance and Loading process.
The new modules will be presented in the DGM-SDG booth on the Air Cargo Handling Conference 2011.
