Acceptance

Air transport of dangerous goods and hazardous materials is subject to many rules and regulations. Non-compliance may result in long delays and high fines. A key issue in the entire process is the acceptance of the shipment by the Ground Handling Agent or by the airline.

Collection List

The sub module Acceptance of the DG Handling module is a great help in filling in the required data and making sure the shipment is accompanied by all the required documents. The software adds significant options to the mandatory NOTOC module. First of all, it allows you to activate the Collection List. You ‘receive’ all offered shipments in your warehouse without the need to immediately add them to a flight NOTOC.

During the entry procedures of the shipments in the Collection List (your warehouse) you can immediately check the content of the document as the Wizard will show you the information to be reproduced on the Shippers Declaration based on the UN number, Packing Group and type of Aircraft. It supports All Packed in Ones, Overpacks and Q-value calculations.

Checklist

After the entry of the Declaration lines (and check of the paperwork) you can activate option 2 and print a warehouse acceptance checklist to see if the delivered cargo matches the information given on the declaration. When correct, the lines can be marked as accepted in DGOffice.net. After that, these lines are available to fill ULD’s by using the ULD wizard (option 3).

In the ULD wizard you can select lines from the checked cargo list only and load them into a ULD. You have the option to load the whole line or just part of it. After the ULD’s have been created/loaded into DGOffice.net they can be assigned to a flight by placing them on the flight NOTOC and assigning a position onboard the aircraft. Automatic checks will prevent you from loading multiple ULD’s on one position.

Inside the module you have different options and settings as well as reporting functions to tailor the module to your needs and to enhance the efficiency of your cargo warehouse procedures. The system prevents from loading unchecked cargo in ULD’s or assignment of tasks by unauthorized staff.
